Columbia County Humane Society RESPONSE TO COVID-19 PANDEMIC: These are our current guidelines for potential visitors and customers to CCHS.

CCHS is CLOSED to all walk-in visitors.  To protect the health of our cleaning volunteers, staff and community, we are asking that you visit us only if you have an appointment.  The doors are locked and only people with appointments will be allowed to enter.  608-742-3666.   Please do not call from the parking lot to schedule an appointment. We may not be able to accommodate you.   Call ahead.   Appointments are being scheduled for adoptions, stray redemptions and stray drop off.   If you have an animal you need to surrender, please call us first.  Our availability to take surrenders will depend on if we have the staff to care for them.  We are not immune here and may see staff shortages due to illness.  Please DO NOT schedule an appointment if you are sick or have been around people who are sick.  If you make an appointment and get sick, please call us to cancel.   We appreciate your understanding during this time.
